Dr. Julia Beeman Receives Spirit of St. Benedict Award

The Belmont Abbey College community gathered today for our annual Employee Recognition Banquet. The luncheon, which featured crab cakes, chicken and a cheesecake dessert, recognized the dedication of employees celebrating key anniversaries with the college from 5 years to 20 years. Dr. Thierfelder gave a heartfelt thanks to the entire mix of faculty and staff for their sacrifices and contributions to the success of the college. He reminded those gathered of recent accolades the college has received as well as accomplishments such as increased enrollment, athletic successes and academic accomplishments.
