On Thursday, October 3rd at 4 pm, Belmont Abbey College broke ground for its newest residence hall. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by many students, faculty, and staff as well as members of our local community. Our Crusader cheerleaders were in attendance to add some spirit and even Benny the Crusader came out to get the building started! Inspired words were spoken by both Dr. Thierfelder and Abbot Placid in honor of this exciting new beginning. Thank you for all who attended this event and worked toward making this new residence hall a reality for the students of Belmont Abbey College.
