The 2020 Belmont Abbey College Commencement Ceremony was unlike any other. The graduates were not assembled on campus in front of the basilica, as has been the tradition for many years. They were sitting in front of their computers, televisions, and smartphones, participating virtually. The staff and faculty of Belmont Abbey College went to great lengths to create a commencement that would be memorable for this graduating class and the response from Saturday’s ceremony has been overwhelmingly positive!

Overall the resounding sentiment from graduates, families, and the entire Abbey community has been one of excitement for the class of 2020 and gratitude that, despite not being physically together, this commencement still united us.
