Meet our Abbey Advocates – the tour guides to your Belmont Abbey College experience. Our Abbey Advocates lead all campus tours and aid the Admissions Office in executing our campus events. Abbey Advocates are comprised of current college students from a variety of backgrounds, pursuing a variety of different opportunities available at Belmont Abbey College – from athletics to theatre arts to Greek life. Become an Abbey Advocate
Description:
A Student Advocate is responsible for representing Belmont Abbey College on and off campus and assisting the Office of Admissions with recruitment and retention. Additionally, Student Advocates will work with BAC Admissions Staff in various supporting roles. They will reach out to prospective students and make them aware of the programs and services through BAC. Advocates may have very specific duties defined by interest, availability and skill set and will be determined by the supervisors.
Requirements:
3.0 GPA
History of being involved with campus life
Passion for Belmont Abbey College
1 letter of recommendation
Must be available for training August 12-15th
The ideal candidate possesses maturity, outgoing personality, creativity, punctuality, dependability, flexibility, accuracy and must be able to follow instructions. Must be trustworthy due to the exposure to confidential and sensitive information.
Work Schedule:
Various shifts M-F 8-5:00
Will include some weekends and evening hours
