- The Theatre Arts Minor is designed to allow students to achieve proficiency in either performance or the technical aspects of theatre.
The minor is closely allied with the Abbey Players, the drama group at Belmont Abbey College.

With a Theatre Arts Minor from Belmont Abbey College, as well as significant stage work in acting, directing or technical design, you will be able to pursue a Master’s in Fine Arts. Several recent Abbey Theatre Arts Minors have been admitted to graduate programs based Should you not pursue a professional theatre career, the Theatre Arts Minor will increase your understanding of and appreciation for live theatre, as well as enhancing the skills you develop through the pursuit of any Belmont Abbey College major, or any career you enter after graduation.
