Parent and Reunion Giving Manager for College Relations

Position Summary

Belmont Abbey College invites applications for the current position of Parent and Reunion Giving Manager for College Relations.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this full-time, twelve-month position will use his/her working knowledge of fundraising, and excellent oral and written communication skills to support the activities of the College Relations office at Belmont Abbey College. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Administration in the Office of College Relations, the Parent and Reunion Giving Manager works independently and in collaboration with members of the Office of College Relations to identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts from current donors and prospects, as well as, creating and managing a Reunion Giving Program.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising experience, preferably in higher education or independent schools, OR a combination of education, experience, and training. Experience in fundraising, alumni relations, volunteer management, and event management is desirable. Donor-focused, with experience in face-to-face solicitations is required. Creativity and initiative required. Successful candidates will possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to communicate sensitive information/feedback with tact and professionalism. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively, and navigate a complex work environment. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office at Belmont Abbey College. Cover Letter required for consideration.
