Physical World Adjunct Position

Position Summary

Belmont Abbey College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach the seated Physical World course and an accompanying lab section and/or an online Conceptual Physical Science course. The courses serve to meet part of the College’s core curriculum.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must understand and embrace the responsibility of supporting the college’s Catholic identity and value participation in an academic community dedicated to a robust Catholic and Benedictine educational vision.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in one of the Physical Sciences (e.g. Physics, Chemistry, etc.); prior experience in college teaching, seated or online, is also preferred.
